Tuscarora Clothing

The Tuscarora people are known as "People of the Shirt." Their traditional outfits include ribbon shirts and gustowehs (headdress) for men and shirts, skirts, and dresses for women. Here are some traditional Tuscarora outfits. Notice that they are called "outfits," not costumes.
